Lughnasa is almost here. The Sun is getting smaller. Time to kill a god, make sacrifices, reap the first harvest. I’m so tired of hearing about black magick, vs. white magick, vs. gray magick. Witches are people and have all the same things going on inside of them as other people. If the best is happening through their journey, they are working on not perfection or becoming “good”, but balance. Balancing the dark urges against using judgement to make the right choice.
Sure, witches have a dark side. We can cast curses, and sometimes those curses serve a greater purpose, if only getting the crap out of your system. I will not apologize for my dark side, or how and when I use it. I don’t apologize for the healing spells I cast now do I? The dark side of the year is upon us. Time to look at that part of who we are as witches. And stop quibbling about black, white, or gray. I wrote a whole article about this topic. The link is below:
