The promise that came at Imbolc is now taking shape. Ostara, the Vernal, or Spring, Equinox is upon us. What was a budding flower in your imagination is now opening up into infinite possibilities. The time of rest is over and life is bursting all around you. At this moment of balance all realities are possible. You are the fulcrum at the center of the scales and it is up to you to make the decisions that will decide what your reality will yield during this turn of the Wheel.
Of course, that doesn’t necessarily mean this is an easy moment in the Cosmic year, which is why the scales swing so wildly as they seek balance, so many realities from which to choose. You are choosing which seeds to plant, which dreams will yield the most desired result. It is easy to get lost in all those possibilities, and that is where the storms begin. March is known for being a stormy time of year here in the Northern Hemisphere. That is because there is so much going on in the atmosphere as the quiet and promise of Winter gives way to the life of Spring. There is just as much going on inside you as you sort through all those desires, all those emotions that surround your fondest dreams. Now is NOT the time to give into any negative thoughts about how impossible any of your dreams are. At this moment of balance, it is ALL possible! You just have to decide which dreams are worth the energy to pursue them, which possibilities are the ones for which you are willing to pay the price in energy and time to make come true.
Like any farmer or gardener, you will plant a lot of seeds that may or may not come to fruition. It is at Beltaine that you will start placing your passions into the mix. Now at Ostara you are choosing the seeds and putting them into the ground, and waiting to see what sprouts. The most important thing to remember as you plant those seeds that hold your future reality is that you are open to all the possibilities.
